Rich Wild Sweet Cherry Flavor-Naturally Disease and Insect Resistant
This uncultivated form of sweet cherry is noted for its rich cherry flavor and high yields of often free from insects and diseases. It is the tested virus free form of wild cherry found in Germany. These selections represent the form found in central Europe that is rarely cultivated. They are often used for rootstock,ornamental or syrup, jams jellies and fresh eating. Dark purple fruit form in thick clusters. Although small fruited, the flavor is more distinct than cultivated sweet cherries and not as bland when processed for jam.
