One of the many varieties developed by the late TV Munson, who was mainly concerned with finding new varietals for wine production in areas where traditional varieties had little chance of surviving. Munson grapes are blue in color and can be harvested midseason. This plant has gemale flowers and will fruit on its own. Probably a hybrid of Vitis champinii a native grape from Texas. One of his many selections that are quite durable in the southwestern U.S. and throughout the world.
