This hybrid rose is one of the few selections that we found as a chance cross with rugosa roseand other unknown species. The hip production is low compared to our other strains but thestructure of the upright plant with the long arching canes and the lack of seeds within the fruitmake it valuable for a nice ornamental rose with some vitamin C capsules found within. Flowershave a nice fragrance and can be eaten as well. “But I want to know for sure”. Then plant one.
