Seeds Sale-2023 crop Limited Time-use CODE:  Seeds25

We have upgraded our payment options which will allow you to use several payment options without having a Paypal account. The sale will continue for a month until May 15th.

This sale helps sell the remaining seed harvest of 2023 as well as install a greenhouse this summer and other exciting new projects in the works. The greenhouse was purchased prior to the pandemic and is replacing the large house we lost during a snowstorm.

Many of you have asked about the root crops I used to grow. Unfortunately they were extremely time and labor intensive to bring back into production. Even a little bit involves infrastructure to make it possible to any degree.

At this time other nurseries are unwilling to add the tubers to their line up. It really takes up a lot of space and time to produce a crop like this.  In the process of looking for alternative companies, I have found a couple of possible avenues for offering smaller quantities of seeds being sold on other websites.  This fall a licensing arrangement will be possible for specific crops. This will be for those who wish to sell certain Ecos-Oikos Tree Crops selections which have the greatest potential in the retail plant market. This is specifically for companies who want to branch out into the new and ever expanding new food-crop markets.

I am writing every day hoping to publish a book on my experiences growing trees and the back stories behind my nursery and my life around trees. No need for another tree book. There are plenty of those filled with all sorts of philosophy or impractical ideas that require herculean energy and money. You will see less newsletters from me so that is why I am mentioning this.

Thank you again for those who have purchased my seed and made it possible for me to continue farming my land, creating new varieties but most important a means for me to share my stories and experience by writing. Thank you for your words of encouragement.  If you think of farming as some sort of conglomerate industry taking over our minds and our land, think again. It starts from the individual connected to other like minded individuals willing to break boundaries in the plant world while following in the footsteps of those who have come before us.   Enjoy.
