There is still time to schedule tours of Oikos Tree Crops tree crop farm this year. So far the weather has been fairly nice. A tour lasts about an hour and a half. It is a walking tour and covers roughly a half mile of trails up and down hills. You also will get a chance to enjoy fresh off the tree American persimmons and take some home. A brief history of the farm, the over 1000 different types of plants as well as many of the cool trees and shrubs found at the farm with a few personal stories on how they got here.
